New Installer Sneak Peak, Finding Out What's Going On Behind The Scenes

What you see above are screenshots from the new menu-based installer which should make things much easier for everyone. I've been working on it for a few days now... not quite feature complete, but getting there. Ability to select what you want to install, where you want to install it, if you want autologin or not and more. It will be included in the next version of Zerogame.

Maybe you're not a fan of surprises and you'd like to know what my plans are and what I'm in the middle of working on. There are two things you can do to see what work is being done and what ideas I've got.

First, you'll want to check out the SVN log for Zerogame which you can find at http://svn.thezerogameproject.com/log.php?repname=Zerogame&path=%2F&isdir=1&.
Second, I often leave myself support tickets with new ideas and feature requests. You can do the same here: http://thezerogameproject.com/support/zerogame/

nice work, when you say "It will be included in the next version of Zerogame", do you mean rev .52?

With all the stuff going into the next version, I'm not so sure "0.52" would even be appropriate for a version number, lol.

Personally Im kinda excited about the movie add on cause i have my ps3 hard drive filled with movies so if i could repartition and put all of the hard drive but 10 gigs toward YDL then that would be great to have all my games and movies all together :D Plus if I read the SVN correctly for the movie add on it should support alot of different formats which would make things great since ps3 is pretty limited to like AAC and MP4..Would be nice to be able to play like MKV formats...

Don't expect amazing performance if your MKVs are 720p or better.

I would skip adding anything which isn't emulator related. The linux side of the PS3 is pretty 'hobbled' and it has trouble playing 20+ year old games let alone the latest 1080P MKV video...
